Reid’s first teacher, Richard Miller, was the vocal pedagogy pioneer who taught a foundation and understanding in the science and physiology of singing as well as the application of acoustical science. Miller’s teachings instilled in Reid an interest in vocal science as well as the Art of Classical Singing.
Reid then studied with Judith Natalucci, under whose technical guidance Reid began a flourishing professional career. After a physical injury caused him partial paralysis of one vocal fold, Reid was told he may never sing again. Yet with Natalucci’s guidance, Reid harnessed his vocal technique even further to overcome the odds, rehabilitating the paralisis and solidifying his technique to a unique level. Now as a teacher, Reid passes the knowledge he gained from these master teachers on to his students.
